DOCUMENTATION CONSIDERATIONS:

The GI 275 Part 23 AML STC Airplane Flight Manual Supplement, Garmin P/N 190-02246-12, Rev 12 is required to be issued to the aircraft owner/operator before the aircraft is returned to service, if not already provided.

The GI 275 Pilot’s Guide, Garmin P/N 190-02246-01, Rev Q has been updated to reflect GI 275 Multi-function Instrument Software Version 3.20.

PURPOSE:

CAUTION
GI 275 Software Version 3.20 prevents the display of VOR deviations from a composite NAV source. GI 275 Composite NAV pins are J2751 Pin 5 and Pin 44.

This STC Service Bulletin provides notification of STC SA02658SE Master Drawing List revision 24.

Major details of the updates are:

• Updated GI 275 System Software to version 3.20:
  
  • Added TAWS-B VCO audio LRU coordination to prevent conflicting callouts
    
  • Enabled along-track waypoints to be selectable
    
  • Added a new altitude display box above the airspeed tape to display complimentary units (Meters/Feet)
    
  • Adjusted EGT/TIT bars to be slightly narrower to improve readability
    
• Approved installations of the Garmin Restrictor fitting (EIS installations) to smooth manifold pressure fluctuations
  
• Approved Static Source Error Correction (SSEC) for the Internal ADC applicable to the Textron Aviation Inc. 525A (Cessna 525A) aircraft.
  
• Added PA-28-161 (Cadet) and STINSON V-77 (Army AT-19) models to the AML
  
• Approved interface to Alcor 'gasket-style' cylinder head temperature thermocouple probes
  
• Approved interface to the GNC® 215 NAV/COMM Radio
  
• Expanded allowable GSB™ 15 High-Speed USB Charging Hub For Aircraft installation locations
