Step 2 Remove Protective Cover
- Using the T-6 screwdriver, remove the 4 screws from the L-shaped clamp plate protecting the VHF antenna.
NOTE!: The highlighted section in the image below is the location for the short screw.

- Remove the clamp plate from the device and set screws and plate aside. Note that one screw is shorter than the others.

Step 3 Remove VHF Antenna
- Use the PH1 Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the screw securing the VHF Antenna and set aside.

- Remove the antenna by carefully pulling it through the antenna guide.
|
Step 4 Install Replacement Antenna
- Use both of your hands to align and secure the antenna guide, pushing the replacement antenna back through the guide holes. This may require some moderate force to push the antenna through each guide hole.

- Secure the antenna to the device with the antenna screw using the PH1 Phillips-head screwdriver.
NOTE: The antenna should orientate so that it fits flush into the antenna channel. This will result in the ring terminal being flush with the threaded opening where the antenna screw is inserted.
