Total Mileage Shown from a Destination Appears Inaccurate
The Tread® may appear to show the incorrect mileage when you search for a destination (including favorites/saved places, recently found places, POIs, addresses, and coordinates) before calculating a route.
The different distance shown is the total distance from your current position to the destination in a geographical straight line, or "as the crow flies." This is not the same as the mileage of the route the device ultimately calculates since you have not yet selected a specific route.
To Find out the Total Mileage for a Route:
- Touch Search
- Select the location you'd like to navigate to
- Touch Go!
- Access the Trip Information page by touching the data field displaying Speed
The Trip Information page will display the route's total mileage.
