Pro/Flex Team Tracking Activation
Team Tracking is a feature available for inReach Flex Team Professional plans that lets the Tread® XL - Baja Chase and/or Tread® XL - Race Edition GPS navigator send and receive position updates from one device to another. Race teams can see the position of all members on the map and can send and receive messages to the team.
4. Create a Garmin Account or select I already have a Garmin account to sign in
5. Enter your account details
6. Enter your emergency contacts
7. Read the information on SOS Response Coordination
8. Read the information on Search and Rescue (SAR) Insurance
9. Review and confirm the account details
10. Enter the Billing Address
11. Enter the payment information
12. Select Next once the activation completes.
13. Read the info about adding users and devices.
14. Read and accept the Terms and Conditions
15. After creating your Professional account, follow the Guided User and Device Setup
During the guided user and device setup, you will create users and assign devices to each user with the IMEI and Authorization Code.
You will need a unique email for each new user that cannot match the administrator account email.
16. Enter the details for the new user and select Save
17. Users will be added to the All Users tab. Select Create Group.
18. Add a Group Name and select Save.
19. Select Add Users to add users to this group
20. Enter the IMEI and Authorization Code from the user's device and select Next
21. Choose a Plan Type and select Next
22. Choose a Service Plan and select Next
23. Review the plan details and select Next
24. Review the Terms and Conditions for your selected plan
25. Assign a User for this device and select Add Device
26. The device activation will begin
27. Select Next when the activation completes
28. Select Groups & Users to add more Users
29. Select Add User
30. Enter the details for the new user and select Save
31. Select Assign
32. Repeat steps 29-31 to add more users
33. Select your Group Name to add users to the group
34. Select Add Users
35. Select Users to add to the group
36. Select Plans & Devices to add more devices
37. Select Add Device
38. Repeat steps 20-27 to add the device and complete activation
39. Review the Groups & Users tab to make sure each of the Users are assigned a device and are in the same group
40. After setting up your group, take the devices outside and touch Team Tracking
41. Touch Next
42. Touch Activate
43. The activation process will begin
44. Touch OK
45. Touch OK when the activation completes
46. After completing the activation, press the Start Tracking button in the Team Tracking app to begin sending and receiving position updates
Changing Group Membership
After any changes or updates are made to a Team Tracking group, such as adding or removing members, or changing names, you can refresh your team information from your device.

Troubleshooting
Why am I Seeing Myself in the Team Tracking List?
The inReach needs to know who you are which should be set automatically during activation. To fix the issue reset to factory settings and reactivate.
My Updated Time is Always Wrong. I am Getting Negative Numbers for Time Differences.
Make sure the clock on your tablet or smartphone is accurate and in the correct time zone.
The Users in My Team List are Incorrect.
Send a team update message to ensure all recent changes are applied to the group.
My Team is Not Updating, Why?
Check group settings to see if users are selected to receive Team Tracking Messages.
Make sure all inReach devices have a clear view of the sky to connect to the satellites.
Ensure tracking is enabled for all inReach devices.
Are you using a rest interval that is slower than the moving interval? This can prevent messages from being sent.
Check the Bluetooth connection.
Restart the inReach communicator and re-pair with the mobile device.
