Mailing Address Location Differs from the POI Location on the Map

In some cases, the maps may show a particular POI (Point of Interest) in a different location than the actual address tied to the POI.

A few reasons why this may occur: 

• The address maybe the location of a mailbox or a mail drop-off area
• The mailing address was established before the POI
• The mailing address may not reflect the exact location because the POI is located in a shopping mall or a strip-mall

If the POI and the mailing address are not in the same general area, this may be a map error, which can be reported and fixed in future map updates. Please submit any errors through our map error report form.
