Automotive Device Pronounces "Dr" as "Doctor"

The default behavior of the text-to-speech feature is to expand "Dr." into "Doctor" if the following word begins with a capital letter. Many of these problems (mainly on side streets) are correctly resolved by the phonetic correction data provided by HERE (Navteq) mapping data.

When getting off a highway, the voice will speak "Dr." as "Doctor", because it does not have correction data for this text that came from the road sign.
