Garmin Explore App Diagnostic Data Collection

The Garmin Explore App creates a set of log files when it is being used. These files contain information that will allow Product Support to identify the issue and provide a resolution in a timely manner.

The log files may be requested by Product Support when working to resolve an issue.

Collecting Diagnostic Data

The following steps explain how to send diagnostic data to Product Support.


Android

  1. Open the Garmin Explore App.
  2. Touch User Icon Explore Orange on White.
  3. Select App Info.
  4. Select Send Diagnostic Data.
  5. Select Contact Us.

IMPORTANT: Do not change the 'From field' email address when sending logs, or the diagnostic data may not be received by Product Support.

Product Support will supply you with further instructions on how to get the logs to them.


iOS

  1. Open the Garmin Explore App.
  2. Touch User Icon Explore Orange on White.
  3. Select App Info.
  4. Select Send Diagnostic Data.
