Viewing Multiple Maps with the Garmin Explore App on the Overlander
There are two types of maps (Available map options are dependent on the region) that can be downloaded in the Overlander® GPS navigator Garmin Explore™ app: Area Maps and High Detail Maps.
Area Maps Include:
Topo North America
OpenStreetMap
Digital Atlas of Earth
High Detail Maps Include:
Color Aerial
USGS Quad Sheets
For a full description of the maps, select 
from Garmin Explore™ then Help. Any of the options can be selected for more details (you may have to scroll down to see the information).
Accessing the Map Selection Screen:
- Open the Garmin Explore™ app
- Select
The Map Layers will display on the top left with a toggle for each downloaded map and options.

Important Notes
The option to display Hybrid maps allows for Area maps (except OpenStreetMap) to be displayed on top of High Detail maps.
The Prefer on Map option only works between Topo North America and OpenStreetMap. OpenStreetMap is always preferred over Digital Atlas of the Earth, regardless of the toggle state.
When OpenStreetMap is selected as the preferred map, the High Detail maps will not be displayed.
