(2017) Service Bulletin 1701 Rev A: GTS Processor Software Version 3.04 for Non-GX000 Integrated Flight Deck Installation Only

PRODUCTS AFFECTED:
 All GTS Processor (GTS 825/GTS 855/GTS 8000) units with software version 3.03 (or earlier) and interfaced to a GTN 6XX/7XX, GNS 4XX(W)/5XX(W), GNS 480, G500, G500H, G600, GMX 200, MX20, or other 3rd party flight display systems are affected.

PURPOSE:
 GTS Processor software version 3.04 includes the following enhancements:

• For TAS/TCAS I/TCAS II installations, v3.04 allows the GTS Processor to output the Traffic Data file via the BCAS traffic display protocol.
• For TAS/TCAS I installations, v3.04 adds support for Pressure Altitude data from GTN over HSDB.
• For TAS/TCAS I/TCAS II installations, v3.04 adds support for Magnetic Heading data from GTN over HSDB.
• For TAS/TCAS I/TCAS II installations that enabled ADS-B IN processing, v3.04 fixes a situation where directional SURF targets were depicted as non-directional SURF targets. Other changes don’t affect any ADS-B IN report generation functionality.
