(2017) Service Bulletin 1660: GTX 3X5(R) Series Main Software Version 2.10 and ADS-B Software Version 2.10

PRODUCTS AFFECTED:
    All GTX 3X5(R) series products (with main software version 2.09 or earlier and/or ADS-B software version 2.05 or earlier) that are interfaced to a TAS/TCAS are affected.

PURPOSE:
    GTX 3X5(R) Series main software version 2.10 includes the following changes:

• Added Enhanced Surveillance capability for European customers
• Fixed Altitude Source Selection configuration for GTN and G9XX/G1XXX retrofit installations
• Added support for MAPX GPS Output
• Added three Transponder Control formats

    GTX 3X5(R) Series ADS-B software version 2.10 filters out TAS/TCAS targets determined to be on the ground. This reduces nuisance alerts around airports.
