How to Create a Checklist to use on the aera 795 or aera 796
Checklists can be created by using our free Checklist Editor software. Once a checklist has been created using our software, save the checklist to an SD card.
To Access the Checklist on the aera® Aviation Portable, follow the Steps below:
Place the SD card in the device.
From the Main Menu, select Tools.
On the Tools page, select the Checklist icon at the bottom of the screen.
If there are different Groups or Checklists that have been made, touch the green arrows to the right of the group/checklist name to access or locate the different lists.
Once the appropriate checklist is selected, touch the box to the left of each checklist item to put a green check mark in the box, identifying that checklist item has been complete.
The checklist is only accessible when the SD card with the saved checklist is in the aera 795 or aera 796. Creating a checklist is a helpful way to access information immediately in an emergency situation, or simply as a reminder prior to engaging in any phase of flight.
