(2022) Service Bulletin 22092 Rev A: Corrective Action for G1000 NXi Phenom EMB-500/-505 Aircraft with CVR Interface

PRODUCTS AFFECTED:

Embraer S.A EMB-500 (Phenom 100) and EMB-505 (Phenom 300) aircraft equipped with G1000 NXi Integrated Flight Deck installed per AML STC SA01933WI are affected if the following applies:

• System Software Version is 3643.00 thru 3643.04, AND
  
• GMA 1360D audio panels are installed, AND
  
• 3rd party cockpit voice recorder (CVR) is interfaced to the Garmin G1000 audio system.
  

NOTE
G1000 NXi configuration that use the GMA 1347D audio panels or that DO NOT use a CVR are not affected by this service bulletin.

COMPLIANCE:

MANDATORY: STC Service Bulletin 22092 must be accomplished at the next maintenance interval or biennial inspection, no later than October 31, 2023.

PURPOSE:

Cross-side audio is not provided by GMA™ #1 to the optional third-party CVR. This service bulletin approves G1000 System Software Version 3643.06 as a required corrective action for this CVR interface non-compliance issue.

This Service Bulletin is warranty reimbursable with a deadline of October 31, 2023.
