DOCUMENTATION CONSIDERATIONS:
As a result of changes related to this update, the applicable documents listed in Table 1 are required to be issued to the aircraft operator/owner before the aircraft is returned to service.

PURPOSE:
This STC amendment approves the following:
- G3X Software Version 9.16 (includes G5 Software Version 8.25 and changes listed here: https://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=14567)
- Installation of the new GEA™ 24B Garmin Part Number 011-05991-01 and GMA™ 245R Garmin Part Number 011-03784-11.
NOTE
These LRUs are updates to the existing GEA 24 and GMA 245R equipment, and can be used for new installations or to replace the original part numbers in existing installations.
- Interface between the GEA 24(B) and SureFly TACH2 module to allow G3X to read and display engine RPM from a SureFly Ignition Module (SIM).
