Steps to Send a Course to a Device Using the Garmin Connect App
Courses created from the Garmin Connect app can be sent directly to compatible devices when following the steps listed below.
Sending a course using the Garmin Connect app:
Open the Settings Menu.
Android: Select
(upper left).iOS: Select More (lower right).
Select Training.
Select Courses.
Choose the course that you want to send.
Select the 3 dots in the top right.
Select Send to Device.
Select the device you want to send to.
The course will be sent to the device during the next sync with the app.
When naming courses, keep in mind that most devices have a limit where they only look at the first 15 characters in the name of a course. If there are multiple courses where the first 15 characters are the same, the device will think they are the same course. To work around this limitation, make sure the names vary within the first 15 characters.
