The Forerunner® 945 LTE watch has certain features (such as LiveTrack over LTE, spectator messaging over LTE, and safety features over LTE) that require an LTE subscription. To activate an LTE subscription, select a scenario below:

Add LTE During Initial Setup:Open the Garmin Connect™ app.
Access the menu by selecting More (bottom right).
Select Garmin Devices.
Select the Forerunner 945 LTE.
Select Finish Setup1 .
Select Set Up LTE.
Follow the prompts in the app to select a service plan and complete the setup.
After you set up your LTE subscription, you will receive an email when the activation has been completed.

Add LTE After Completing Setup:Open the Garmin Connect™ app.
Access the menu by selecting More (bottom right).
Select Garmin Devices.
Select the Forerunner 945 LTE .
Select Connectivity.
Select LTE
Select Set Up LTE.
Follow the prompts in the app to select a service plan and complete the setup.
After you set up your LTE subscription, you will receive an email when the activation has been completed.
