Note: HomePort has been discontinued. For additional information regarding the discontinuation, see HomePort Application Discontinued
HomePort has the ability to send ADM user data files to SD cards for use in marine chartplotters.
First, set HomePort to create an ADM file when information is sent to your blank SD card:
Start HomePort
Click Utilities
Choose Options
Choose the Devices tab
Click the circle next to ADM Files (*.adm)
Click OK
Whenever you send user data to a blank SD card, an ADM file will be created. To send user data:
Insert the SD card into the computer
Open the HomePort program
The user data should appear on the left side of the program in the My Collection folder or any other folder that may have been created
Right-click on the user data (either individual data or folder that contains the data) and choose Send To
Choose the SD card that should be labeled as the device (if the card was formatted previously)
Choose Untitled (or any other folder that may have been created on the card)
The user data will now be transferred to the SD card.
