Button Functions on the Rino 600 Series

The button functions of the Rino® 610, 650, 650t, and 655t outdoor handhelds are depicted below.

Rino 600 Series Button Layout

one Call Key

  • Select to send out a call tone.

  • If peer-to-peer position is enabled, the call key sends your position when released.

two Power/Backlight

  • Hold to turn the unit on or off.

  • Quickly press and release to adjust backlight, volume, squelch level, and to lock or unlock the screen.

three PTT

  • Hold to talk. PTT stands for Push To Talk.
