Troubleshooting Garmin Drive App Traffic on Automotive Devices
Your device is compatible with using Garmin Drive™ app Traffic for Android or iPhone. See Garmin Drive App Compatibility and Availability for more information.
There are a number of troubleshooting steps if you are not receiving traffic information.
NOTE: If your device was preloaded with full map coverage (i.e. North America), and full map coverage is not installed, you may not receive traffic updates on your Automotive device. See Maps Missing After Updating Maps on a Full Coverage Automotive Device for more information.
Garmin Suggests Troubleshooting in the Following Order:
1. Connect the device to power using the appropriate vehicle power cable
2. Touch Settings
3. Touch Traffic
4. Touch Traffic again
5. Ensure Garmin Live Traffic is selected
1. Connect the device to power using the appropriate vehicle power cable

3. Touch Traffic
4. Touch Traffic again to toggle the switch to enabled
