"The imported route(s) were calculated with different maps. Would you like to recalculate the route(s)?" Message on a Device

The message "The imported route(s) were calculated with different maps. Would you like to recalculate the route(s)?" may appear on a device capable of multiple-stop routing.

This message should only appear when a route was created in a mapping program (e.g., MapSource or BaseCamp™ software), then transferred to a device that has a different map version installed then the map version that was used in the program.

First, check which map version is installed on the device.

To See Which Map Version is Installed:

  1. Touch Settings
  2. Touch Map & Vehicle or Map Display
  3. Touch myMaps

Then, when using BaseCamp™ software or MapSource (Windows only), a drop-down menu will appear near the top of the window whenever more than one mapping product is installed on the computer.


To Confirm the Installed Map When the Drop-Down is Missing or When Using BaseCamp™ Software:

MapSource:

  1. Open MapSource
  2. Click View
  3. Hover over Switch to Product
  4. Select the relevant map set

BaseCamp™ Software:

  1. Open BaseCamp™ software
  2. Click Maps
  3. Select the relevant map set

Once the route has been created with the same map version, the message will no longer appear.
