SD Cards that are compatible with the GTN Xi.

GTN™ Xi touch screen navigator SD card compatibility for database loading is as follows:

• A storage capacity between 8 and 32 gigabytes (GB).
  
• All databases for this unit are stored internally. Therefore, both TSO and non-TSO compatible SD cards can be used.  Garmin recommends that, when choosing an off-the-shelf SD card, you select one that is a Class 10 high-quality name brand SD card.
• Once all databases have been loaded into the GTN Xi, the SD card can be removed from the device.
• Before first time use, Garmin recommends that the SD card be formatted according to the instructions found at the bottom of this article.
