Garmin eLog Driving Information Not Updating Properly After Initial Setup

After the first setup and use of the Garmin eLog, if you find that driving information such as mileage and engine hours are not updating correctly upon changing your duty status, then the eLog may not have been installed correctly. Specifically, before installing the eLog adapter, ensure that your vehicle's power is off. See Installation for more information.

The issue can be resolved by logging out of the eLog application, then logging back in. To log out, touch the menu button (three dots) in the top corner of the app, then select Log Out. For information, see Garmin eLog App Overview.
