Garmin Marine Device Consumer Limited Warranty Coverage Duration and Third Party Warranty Coverage

The Garmin® Marine product line contains products with either a 1-year, 2-year, or 3-year warranty. In some cases, if an OEM installed the device, a longer warranty coverage period may apply.

To verify the warranty duration of coverage for a Garmin Marine product, refer to the Marine Warranty Policy. Devices found in Appendix A have a two-year warranty. Devices not found in Appendix A and not an installed OEM device (as listed in Appendix B) only have the Garmin consumer 1-year warranty. 

NOTE:  Devices that are physically damaged, even during the warranty period, will not be eligible for exchange. Garmin does not offer out of warranty pricing for physically damaged units.

NOTE:  Some retailers, dealers, and credit card issuers may offer or sell additional warranty coverage (that policy may cover things our policy does not); or an extended warranty plan (which may also cover things the Garmin policy does not cover).

After doing all of the required troubleshooting, check with a retailer, dealer, or warranty administrator. Likewise, if a credit card was used to purchase the Garmin Product, check with the credit card issuer to see if additional warranty coverage is a benefit of being a cardholder.
