Retrieve Photos From Outdoor Handheld with Built-in Camera
Several Garmin outdoor devices have a built-in digital camera, such as the Oregon® 750t and Montana® 680 handhelds. Once pictures are taken and stored on the GPS, they can be retrieved for geotagging or a variety of other uses.
Retrieving Pictures From the GPS:
- Connect the device to the computer with the provide USB cable
- Allow the device to go into mass storage mode
- Select the Garmin drive from Computer (PC) or your desktop (Mac)
- Click on DCIM folder
- Click on 10GRMN or 1000GRMN folder
Your pictures will now be viewable in a JPEG format.
