Using TracBack on the GPSMAP 79 Series

The TracBack feature allows the user to navigate back along the previously recorded activity or track.
Recording an activity or a track is a primary function of a Garmin handheld when powered on and connected to satellites. Allowing the user to begin the activity when powering on the device.
The GPSMAP 79 series records this using Activity FIT files. These smaller file types allow the unit to record and store significantly more files.
Recording Controls allow the user to manage the recording, so a TracBack is most helpful. For steps, see Related.
