Red Battery Check-Mark or Device Not Charging on BMW NAV VI

If you have a BMW NAV VI that is not charging and displays a red check-mark in the battery indicator:

  1. Power the device on
  2. When the copyright screen is displayed, press and hold the bottom right-hand side of the screen
  3. Touch Erase All User Data

The device will now charge correctly.
