GPSMAP 640 Unable to Search for an Address After Updating the City Navigator Maps on a Mac

If the City Navigator maps on a GPSMAP 640 are updated using the Mac version of Garmin Express, the device will be unable to perform an address search. To correct or avoid this issue, use Garmin Express on a Windows computer to install the map update.

Once the maps have been installed using Garmin Express on a Windows computer, the search capability in City Navigator NT maps will be restored.
