High Running Cadence When Using Jabra Headphones With a Garmin Watch
Some Jabra headphones, such as the Jabra Elite Active 65T, feature an integrated motion sensor that allows them to be paired as headphones or as a foot pod sensor. When using these types of headphones with a Garmin® music watch, you may see a prompt on the watch to "Add FP - Jabra" which will also pair the headphones as a foot pod sensor.
If the headphones are paired as a foot pod, there is the potential for them to report additional cadence to the activity. This can result in inaccurate cadence readings.
This can be resolved by removing the the Jabra foot pod sensor from the watch. This setting is typically found under Sensors & Accessories. Refer to your owner's manual for specific instructions.
