Installing Batteries in the Geko 201 & 301
The Geko™ 201 and Geko™ 301 outdoor handhelds operate on two AAA alkaline batteries, which are placed in the back of the unit. Rechargeable alkaline, NiMH, NiCad or Lithium batteries may be used, but cannot be charged in the unit.
Installing the Batteries
- Remove the battery cover by inserting a coin in the bottom slot. Twist the coin to lift the cover up and pull away.
- Compare the battery polarity with the diagram in the battery compartment and install the batteries accordingly.
- Re-install the battery cover by sliding the tab end in first and then snap the bottom section to the base of the unit.
