Replacing the Buckle Assembly for a MARQ Watch

Replacement silicone bands for MARQ® watches are available at Garmin.com. When you receive a new silicone band, the buckle will need to be assembled.

If you need to remove an old buckle, click Disassembling the Buckle  below the steps for assembly.

Tools Needed

  • Two T6 torx screwdrivers

Assembling the Buckle

  1. Place the buckle on the band, and push the pin in slightly to hold it in place.
  2. Place the buckle tongue, and push the pin through the assembly.
  3. Place the screw in the end of the pin, and use the torx drivers to tighten down the buckle assembly.

You have now replaced the buckle for your MARQ band.

Disassembling the Buckle

  1. Place one torx driver against one of the screw heads to hold the screw in place.
  2. Use the other torx driver to remove the screw on the other side of the buckle.
  3. Remove the pin.
  4. The buckle can now be removed.
