Getting back to a parking spot with Garmin Locate and Last Spot

Garmin Locate and Last Spot are features included on some of our automotive devices which will automatically mark the last position to help you find your way back to your vehicle.

To mark your last position on all devices with this feature, simply remove the device from the automotive mount. The device must be powered on and must have satellite signal to mark the last position. After removing the device from the automotive mount, you may power it off. You may then have the device route you back to the last position if desired.

Note: When routing to the last position, the device will use your current navigation settings. It may be necessary to use the device in Off Road mode. For more information about how to enter Off Road mode, consult the owner's manual for your device.

To route back to the last parking spot:

  1. Touch Where to?
  2. Touch Parking
  3. Touch Last Spot
  4. Touch Go!

The device will now calculate a route back to the last parking spot. When the device is returned to the automotive mount, it will not remove the Last Spot from the Parking menu; however marking a new Last Spot will overwrite the old one.
