ULW_SERVERSESSION.CPP Error When Installing Maps

Description

This error occurs when the Unlock Wizard included in legacy MapSource® mapping software is run. This typically occurs after the maps are installed to the computer.

Resolution

Legacy MapSource mapping software products (such as non-NT City Navigator® and original BlueChart® maps) that have already been unlocked do not require this wizard to reinstall the maps. If the maps have already been unlocked in the past, skip the Unlock Wizard and unlock the maps manually.  For instructions on unlocking the maps manually, see Related Content.

Garmin no longer offers new unlock codes for legacy MapSource maps that use the Unlock Wizard. If there is not a pre-existing unlock code from a previous installation of the map, the map product cannot be unlocked.  A newer version of the map must instead be purchased.
