Tall Vehicle Height Setting on the Garmin DriveAssist™ 50, 51 or Garmin DriveCam™ 76

The Tall Vehicle Height setting is designed to work in situations where the camera is at a height that causes the apparent geometry of the road to be different than a car. This feature helps with Lane Departure Warning System alerts. Typically, this will include full size trucks, SUVs, and vans, but it may also improve the experience in minivans and crossover vehicles. This feature is not designed for commercial trucks, such as tractor-trailers or large delivery trucks.

To Change the Vehicle Height Settings:

1. Touch Settings
2. Touch Camera or Dash Cam
3. Touch Camera Placement
   • Skip this step on the Garmin DriveAssist™
4. Touch Vehicle Height
5. Touch the desired option:
   • Normal = Car
   • Tall = Truck, Van
6. Touch Save

The setting has now been changed.
