When changing the batteries in your Index™ BPM Smart Blood Pressure Monitor, Garmin recommends the following tips:
Use replaceable AAA alkaline batteries.
Ensure the batteries are installed correctly. See image below and the owner’s manual for instructions.
Ensure the batteries are new.
Confirm the battery contacts are not obstructed.
Use only high quality batteries (avoid store brand or private label batteries).
