Adjust Guidance Lines on the BC 20
When using the BC 20 Wireless Backup Camera with a compatible device, visual guidance lines will overlay the camera image.
These guidance lines provide a visual representation of the vehicle’s path when in reverse. For the best reference, they should be aligned to reflect the outside edges of the vehicle.
To Adjust the Guidance Lines:
- Position the vehicle with one side closely aligned to a curb, driveway, or parking stall lines.
- For best results, position the vehicle in the center of a parking stall, and then pull forward into the next stall
- The parking stall lines behind the vehicle can then be used as a visual reference for alignment
- Touch the Menu button (three horizontal bars) from the camera view on the device
- Touch Adjust or Adjust Guidance Lines
- Touch the arrows in the corners of the screen to adjust angle and horizontal position
- Touch the arrows in the center of the screen to adjust the vertical position
- Touch the Back button when alignment is complete
After exiting the adjustment page, the guidance lines will be set. Repeat these steps as needed.
It is also possible to hide the guidance lines if no visual aid is needed.
To Hide/Show the Guidance Lines:
- From the camera view, touch the menu button (three horizontal bars)
- Touch Show Lines/Hide Lines or Show Guidance Lines
- Some devices will only have the options for Show Guidance Lines
- This can be enabled or disabled by checking the box
The guidance lines will now be hidden or shown based on the selection made.
Guidance lines were not added to the Camper/RV 760 until software version 3.10, and to the dēzl™ 760 until version 4.30, so it may be necessary to update the system software on these models in order to access this feature. The latest system software can be installed using Garmin Express.
