Track Playback in the Alpha App

In the Alpha® app you can replay your live tracks or playback saved tracks from compatible Alpha handhelds. Rewind a hunt to review performance or just retrace your steps. Track replay can help you review steps during the hunt and Playback can help you review saved tracks after the hunt. 

Note: Saved tracks can only be done on an Alpha 300 or Alpha 200 series handheld. See related content for saving tracks.

Track Replay

Track Replay can be done with any current tracks shown on the map. 

1. Open the Alpha app. 
2. Select Map .
3. Select Track Replay  .

Track replay will open at the bottom of the map. Adjust the handle to replay the tracks on the map.

Saved Track Playback

To view a saved track playback in the Alpha app:

1. Open the Alpha app.
2. Select Library. 
3. Select Saved Tracks.
4. Select the track you would like to view.
5. Select Playback.

Playback Settings

During playback you can adjust the playback speed and map layer options:

1. Select settings .
2. Select Maps.
3. Options are Satellite with TopoActive, Satellite or TopoActive.
4. Select Download Maps to get more map options. 
5. To stop playback and return to the library select Cancel.
