Getting Started with the Xero A1, Xero A1i, and Xero A1i PRO

Black and white logo for xero products.

Before using your Xero® A1, Xero® A1i, or Xero® A1i Pro bow sight system, it is important to set it up properly. The following guide has some suggestions to help you get started. There are also some excellent videos available to watch for guidance in setting up your sight properly.

Installing Batteries

  • The device operates on two AAA lithium batteries. It is important to use lithium batteries as Alkaline and NiMH batteries do not meet the power requirements for auto-ranging functionality and may result in your device failing to operate properly.

  • Garmin recommends using Energizer Lithium batteries in all Xero sights. Lithium batteries are more reliable and are less likely to leak.
