Enabling or Disabling Maps on a GPSMAP 67 Series Handheld
When multiple detailed maps are loaded to a GPSMAP® 67 or GPSMAP® 67i outdoor handheld, some detailed maps may be hidden when other detailed maps are also enabled. For example, if you have both City Navigator® maps and Topo 24k maps loaded to the handheld, the City Navigator map would need to be disabled in order to view the Topo 24K map.
If the map you are trying to use is not being displayed properly, ensure that the specific map you are trying to use is enabled and that other detailed maps you are not currently needing are disabled.
Enabling and Disabling Maps
Depending on the specific map being used, there are two areas to check in the handheld's settings to ensure the map is enabled properly: Map Manager and Map Layers.
Map Manager
Some map content, such as Topo 24k maps or City Navigator maps, can be enabled or disabled in Map Manager.
- Press MENU twice to reach the main menu.
- Select Setup.
- Select Map.
- Select Map Manager.
- Ensure the specific map you are trying to use is enabled and that others are disabled. Select a map to enable or disable it.
= Enabled
= Disabled
- Press QUIT repeatedly until you reach the Map page.
Map Layers
Some map content, such as TopoActive maps or satellite imagery, can be enabled or disabled in Map Layers.

Once the desired detailed map has been enabled, the map will display as expected. If you have multiple detailed maps, repeat these steps as needed to switch between maps.
