Truck Types Supported by the Garmin eLog
The Garmin eLog™ Compliant ELD will function with and transfer information through most trucks which have an On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) port with a 9-pin J1939 configuration. The Garmin eLog includes a 6-pin J1708 adapter cable for trucks with a 6-pin configuration. Garmin eLog ELD supports both 250kbps and 500kbps baud rates, depending on which baud rate your truck is equipped with.
