Showing Saved Activities and Tracks on the Map of the Montana 700 Series
The Montana® 700 series outdoor handhelds can show both recorded activities and saved tracks on the map.
By default, the Recording Controls tool will record the track as an activity, which is saved under Recorded Activities. If desired, activities can also be converted into a traditional track-based GPX file format, which will be saved under Saved Tracks. For more details see Creating a Track from a Saved Activity and Advanced Recording Settings - Output Format.
NOTE: If your recorded activities do not have an option to Show or Hide on Map, you need to update the software on your handheld. For detailed steps, see - Installing Software Updates to Outdoor/Marine Handhelds
