Correcting Low Volume on the Tread® or Tread 2

Ensure the volume or master volume is set to an audible level if you are having trouble hearing the sound coming from the device.

To Check the Volume or Master Volume:

NOTE: You may have to disconnect your headset to access the master volume

  1. Touch the Volume icon on the View Map and Group Ride screen
  2. Confirm the volume is set to the desired level and is not muted

Check the volume levels in the mixer to make sure they are set to an audible level if the master volume is turned up and the volume is still low.


To View the Device's Volume:

  1. Touch the Volume icon
  2. Confirm volume level for master volume
  3. Select Mixer
  4. Confirm the desired volume for Navigation, Radio Fist Mic Speaker, Media, Phone Calls, and/or Proximity Alerts
  5. Touch and hold the back button

The volume level should now be set to the desired level.
