Setting the Install Angles for Garmin Power Meter Pedals

When you install Garmin® power meter pedals to your bike, the pedals need to understand how its sensors are oriented relative to the cranks in order to calculate power correctly. Install Angles are auto-set on Rally™ Pedals. We constantly monitor the value during riding and if they are off we will adjust them. If you move them to another bike they will also auto adjust.

If you have a compatible Garmin device you can reset the angles through the processes listed below:


Vector™ | Vector™ S | Vector™ 2 & 2S

Install the pedals onto the bike and pair the pedals with a compatible Garmin head unit such as an Edge Cycling Computer.

Vector™ 3 & 3S | Rally™

NOTE: Newer Edge devices will not have the option to reset the install angle on Vector 3 or Rally pedals as it is done automatically.

  1. Power on your Edge unit.

  2. Wake up your power meter.

  3. On the Edge, Select Sensors.

  4. Select your power meter.

  5. Select Sensor Details.

  6. Select Reset Install Angles.

  7. Go back one screen.

  8. Select Calibrate.
