Use the appropriate app for syncing inReach account changes to your handheld instead.

After pairing an inReach device in the app, there are no additional steps required to sync. Syncing occurs automatically in the background whenever the app is open and the inReach device is powered on and connected to the phone via Bluetooth® wireless technology.
