Scoring for Virtual Rounds Played on the Approach G80

On the Approach® G80 golf device scoring in virtual rounds is very similar to stroke play. Use the information below to learn how scoring is done during virtual rounds.

Fairway

Strokes that land in the fairway based on the carry and roll of the shot are counted as single strokes. When taking shots down the fairway in virtual round play, it is always assumed that your ball hit the middle of the fairway.

Greens

No putting that takes place while playing Virtual Rounds. Instead putts are based on the ball's distance from the pin from where the ball lands on the green. The chart below describes how putting is scored.

Distance from PinStrokes
0-1 Yard+0 Strokes
1-5 Yards+1 Stroke
6-20 Yards+2 Strokes
21 -50 Yards+3 Strokes

Hazards

Stroke penalties for hazards will occur when the carry and roll distance for your shot align with a hazard in the middle of the fairway. The chart below describes how hazards are applied.

Sand Trap-20% Distance on the next stroke
