How to Edit Fitness Goals in Garmin Connect

Certain wellness goals are able to be edited in your Garmin Connect™ account. For details, see the steps below.

Garmin Connect App

  1. Open the Garmin Connect app.

  2. Select More (bottom right).

  3. Select Activities.

  4. Select one of the following options to edit:

    • Steps

    • Floors (select models)

    • Intensity Minutes

  5. Press the three dots in the top right corner. If you do not see this option, move to Step 6.

  6. Select Edit Goal.

  7. After editing your goal, select Save.

Changes will be sent to your device the next time you sync.


Garmin Connect Web

NOTE: Devices that support Real Time Settings will not have the option to edit goals in Garmin Connect web. Refer to the Garmin Connect app steps or the owner's manual.

  1. From a web browser, sign in to your Garmin Connect account.

  2. Select Watch Outline with Blue Dot Devices & Sync Status (top right).

  3. Select your model.

  4. Select Activity Tracking or User Settings (depending on your model).

  5. Under Goals you can edit Daily Steps, Weekly Intensity Minutes, and Floors Climbed (select models).

  6. Select Save Settings.

Changes will be sent to your device the next time you sync.
