Will a VHF/AIS distress signal send out when Auto MOB is enabled on the legacy quatix® watch?

When paired with a GNT™ 10, the legacy quatix® has a function called Auto MOB (man over board). As soon as the quatix loses connection with the GNT 10, a MOB waypoint is created on the chartplotter and gives an option to start routing to the MOB waypoint. The person at the chartplotter will then acknowledge the alert.

With Auto MOB, only a MOB is activated and no VHF/AIS distress calls are sent out. The distress button the VHF/AIS will need to be manually pressed.
