Full Reset of the inReach Messenger Plus
If you need to reset your inReach® Messenger Plus satellite communicator, follow the steps below.
To Factory Restore the inReach Messenger Plus
NOTE: If your inReach Messenger Plus has been paired with the Garmin Messenger™ app, you will need to pair it again after resetting the device. For pairing instructions, see - Pairing an inReach Messenger Plus With the Garmin Messenger App.
Resetting All Default Settings
You can reset all device settings to the factory default values using the steps below.
From the home page, press
or 
to scroll through the main menu.Select SETTINGS
.Select System
.Select Reset.
Select an option.
To reset all of the device setting to the factory default values and save all user-entered information and message history, select Reset Default Settings.
To reset all of the device settings to the factory default values and delete all user-entered information and message history, select Delete Data and Reset Settings.
To delete all message history, select Delete All Messages.
