If the Approach R10 is not being recognized when in pairing mode, or displays the error We're having a problem talking to the Garmin Connect™ server. Try again, the following steps can help.
Power off or disable Bluetooth on other nearby mobile devices. If it is already paired to another device and actively connected, it will not be recognized by the second mobile device.
Power off the Approach R10.
If the Approach R10 is already paired in the Garmin Golf app and/or phone's Bluetooth settings, remove it. For instructions, see - null.
Uninstall and reinstall the Garmin Golf app.
In the Garmin Golf app, select Profile.
Select My Devices.
Select Add Device.
Follow on-screen instructions.
If the search still does not find the Approach R10, try these steps.
With the Approach R10 powered on, press and hold the button. Continue holding the button while the Approach device powers off and on. This will take about 15-20 seconds.
Once the light goes solid blue, let go of the button.
Start the search again on the Garmin Golf app. The Approach R10 will typically be seen within a few seconds.
If it still fails to be recognized, repeat the process.
