Changing the USB Weather Cap on an Approach R10

If the USB weather cap cover for your Approach® R10 launch monitor is damaged, it can be replaced. A service kit is available with the parts needed to replace the weather cap. If your weather cap is damaged, contact Product Support by clicking the link at the bottom of the article to obtain the kit. 


Replacing the Weather Cap

To replace your weather cap you will need a small Phillips screwdriver. 

  1.  Use the screwdriver to loosen the screw above the charging port

  2. Remove the screw retainer clip, screw, and damaged weather cap

  3. Tip over the Approach R10 monitor to remove any broken off weather cap material

  4.  Place the new screw retainer clip onto the new weather cap end
    TIP: Make sure that the flat end of the clip is on the right side.

  5. Insert the assembled weather cap to the back of the Approach R10 monitor

  6. Insert the new screw and tighten with the screwdriver
