Understanding the LED Colors on the Garmin PowerSwitch

The Garmin PowerSwitch has a status LED below the pairing button. The LED illuminates different colors depending on the device status.

Here is a breakdown of the different LED meanings.

Flashing Red

Slow flashing red light:

  • Status when powered on

Pulsating red light:

  • Device powerup

Flashing Blue

  • Device in pairing mode


Flashing Green

  • An update is being installed

Flashing Purple

  • Factory Reset

No Light

  • The device is not connected to a power source
