Astro Handheld Collar Limit Information

While there are a total of 50 Comm. ID numbers (0-49), the Astro® 220 and Astro® 320 dog tracking handhelds can simultaneously track up to 10 dogs. When setting up multiple collars on an Astro handheld, ensure each collar is on its own Comm. ID number as far apart as possible from other collars and their Comm. IDs.

The Astro® 430 and Astro® 900 handhelds have a different Comm. ID setup to allow it to track up to 20 simultaneously just like the Alpha® 100 handheld. There are a total of 100 Comm. ID numbers and the Astro 430 and Astro 900 handhelds can only see three collars at one time on the dog compass tracking page. 

Spacing collars out and communicating with other hunters to ensure they are not using the same Comm. IDs will decrease the chances of interference between collars.
